Dave Barnhouse is a self-taught artist, working mainly with oils and dealing with Americana subjects.  His style is one of loose realism with a concentration on the illumination aspects of life around us.  Barnhouse says: "I want the nostalgic warm feeling of good times and close family and friends to come through."  Dave lives with his wife, Marie and their family, near his childhood home in Ohio.
