Special Announcement: Jesse Barnes announces his retirement from full time art reproduction.
This announcement was received April 5, 2007 by Picture Perfect gallery & framing as one of his authorized dealers:
For over Forty-five years Jesse Barnes has captivated America with his awe-inspiring creations. He has touched the spirits of young and old alike in a way very few artists ever can. We have been on a long wonderful journey through America and experienced its glory through Jesse's eyes. Memories of a simpler time and generations gone by have been brought back through his magnificent talent and skilled use of lighting effects. We are now both honored and saddened to announce that after 25 years in Limited Edition print, Jesse Barnes is retiring from full-time art reproduction. We would like to thank each and every collector who has been a part of making Jesse one of America's most beloved artists. He has touched the heart and soul of each person who has taken this long journey with him. Now we also say thanks to a man who has shared his truly remarkable God given talent with us all. The artwork of Jesse Barnes will be cherished for generations to come and his legacy will never be forgotten. Jesse’s final automatic release will be Christmas 2007.
Picture Perfect will continue to carry the art work of Jesse Barnes at either issue price or fair market values for as long as his work is available. Ken & Judy with artist
Mort Kunstler
We had the honor of being with
esteemed Historical Interpretive artist, Mort Kunstler for the past 2 Septembers in Richmond, Virginia. We carry his beautiful Civil War prints, puzzles, calendars, ornaments, and sparkling cider in our gallery.
Mort gave us insight into how he creates his special effects and how a painting develops. Mort is a stickler for historical accuracy.
We heard about upcoming releases & gave him ideas for future pieces our clients would like to see.
He and his staff were eager to tell us what is coming up & asked how they could better assist us as dealers and thereby better serve his collectors. We always enjoy our time with Mort & his staff. They are a great group of people to work with, always personally interested in their clients and dealers.
While we are in Virginia, we always take the opportunity to visit Gettysburg, PA and many other historic Civil War & Revolutionary War sites between Missouri & there. We have been able to visit several of the sites which remain today that are featured in some of Mort's paintings. Come into our gallery & you will see the current photo of what those buildings look like, usually from the same perspective as the painting.

Recognition for Picture Perfect
Professional Picture Framer's Association trade magazine has featured Picture Perfect gallery & framing in the June 2005 issue. They tell us the editor got enough information for several more future issues while she was here.
We were asked by the Professional Picture Framer's Association, St Louis Chapter, to host the October 2005 meeting at our gallery in Hannibal, participate in a roundtable discussion and host the annual framing contest. It was an honor & pleasure to have everyone in our gallery. They learned a lot & so did we. The PPFA chapter has requested to come back & we are looking forward to that.
We are humbled and honored by these accolades. It makes all of us at Picture Perfect keep trying even harder to provide the great service, top quality products and unique designs our wonderful clients deserve.
